The MYC features a conference room with big screen TV, a full kitchen, an art studio, an activity hall that can hold up to 300 standing and much more.

Renting The MYC

To Reserve a Date

All rentals require a secruity deposit of $250 at least 10 business days prior to the event to secure the scheduled date. The secruity deposit must be given in check payable to The MYC. Please contact The MYC Event Coordinator for availability on desired date(s).

Staffing

Events with more than 50 participants or special evening events require additional staffing. The staff fee is $20/hour per staff member.

Security

All special evening events require security, which must be provided by Barbier Security Group and paid by the User. For every 40 bodies in the building, we require one security guard. The rate for security is $40/hour per guard. Security will be arranged by The MYC Site Coordinator.

Sound Equipment

The MYC has its own sound system that canhandle audio events from intimate luncheons to large scale events such as dances, concerts, and performances. Our sound system is available for rent at a rate of $35/hour. A sound technician will be needed to set up the sound equipment at the rate of $30/hour.

Set Up/Clean Up

User must rent the facilities for the time needed to set up and clean up for their scheduled event. Set up plan must be approved by Event Coordinator prior to the event. At the end of the event, User must ensure that the rented area is left as clean as possible. If extra cleaning is necessary, fees will be taken from the security deposit. If the total cost excceds the deposit, the User will be billed for the additional amount.
